On Saturday, The Messages Project hosted an evening fundraiser at The Press Box, an Irish-American bar and restaurant in New York City. We are so thankful to everyone who took the time to visit us and help raise awareness about the effects of parental incarceration. Our program wouldn’t exist without supporters like you!
During the event, we collected over 60 brand new children’s books and more than $350 in monetary donations. The Press Box graciously donated the night’s full cover charge to The Messages Project. We are so grateful to them for allowing us to host such a fantastic evening with their customers. Another gracious donor gave us a new video camera to use for filming, which we are very excited about.
We also owe a great deal of gratitude to Allison O’Neill, one of our volunteers, for making this event possible. Allison’s dedication and efforts are phenomenal!
